A Zimbabwe newspaper had made a horrible decision in the publication of a front page. On the front cover of a Zimbabwean newspaper it stated how a British Diplomat shout go home in a "body bag" due to previous tensions of the government. The British diplomacy found this highly unacceptable. There was a strike in Zimbabwe on a Tuesday and all stores and bars on the streets were forced to close up early.
The British did the right thing of informing how unprofessional and rude it was for a statement of that nature to be published in a newspaper. It seems a bit "childish" that the government of Zimbabwe would allow the statement that a British diplomat should return home in a body bag just because she did something that frustrated them. There is a point where one should be the bigger point in a situation instead of fighting fire with fire. I find the whole situation of being a reflection of the Zimbabwean government.
The article ties to the political life of Zimbabwe because it shows how sensitive the country is about something that could be taken the wrong way. It also shows how the country handles events like this because of the impression the government had over the British diplomat. This is important to the politics of the country because it could make the people of the country cautious about the people in charge. In political events, such as voting for something, the people will be careful of what they say because of what they know of the government and how they react to things they don't like.
